Let me begin by saying everyone who knows me will realize I give MORE than a fair chance to everyone I know and everyone I meet. I am the LAST person to say anything negative about a person or a business. BUT I pondered on what to say for 2 days regarding this business. Had I responded Saturday after the party it would have been rude and harsh, but I have carefully thought about what I should say.

This was by FAR the worst experience I have ever had with a child’s birthday party. We arrived at 4:51pm for a 5pm party (we even waited in the car a few minutes to be sure we were not too early). We come in to the facility to HEAVY ROCK on the radio, I am not judging anyone’s choice of music, but for 5-7 year old this hardly seemed appropriate. I had to ASK her to change the radio as it was offensive to me that it wasn’t changed as we came in. This set the tone for the ENTIRE party.

It was literally the most AWKWARD and uncomfortable party I have ever attended. We had 4 adults stay and 2 adults in for a brief period who ALL attested to the way the party was being hosted. It was painful to watch in all honesty. Both the owner and assistant appeared not to be ‘children’ people at all. This I would expect from a high school employee not wanting to be at work on a nice day, but this is your BUSINESS, wouldn’t you expect the owner to LOVE what they do??? It was brutal. No excitement, no engaging the children, no chatting, laughing with them, nothing. I can chalk it up to having a bad day, a long day or even a hard day … but really it was BAD. All 4 adults who stayed at the party were flabbergasted as to how poorly the party hosts acted.

On top of not being personable, they were at times down right rude. Example #1, one girl asked for more lip gloss and was told ‘you’re fine’ another girl asked when the fashion show was and was harshly responded to with ‘it’s at the end, you don’t want to go home right’ and I should add the tone of voice used for these responses would be parent like, NOT party host like. Throughout the party one or both of the hosts disappeared into the back room. Fine if you are gathering items to put out for the next activity but had the parents not stayed to attend, the door was WIDE open and any child could have wandered off, or anyone could have come in. Something silly, maybe, but not in this day and age.

I expect nothing less than a defensive response to this post and that is fine. Unfortunately it will not change the fact this business will quickly be OUT of business if they do not change their attitude toward what they do. My review is not based on a desire to bash this business, but yet to enlighten others about to spend $275 or more of your hard earned money on a party at this facility. While the children seemed to ‘do their own thing’ and not care quite as much as the adults, it was a complete waste of nearly $300. I believe the lack of enthusiasm from these women who looked and sounded like they would rather be ANYWHERE else ruined the entire 2 hours.

All my friends and family will attest to my usual positive nature and honestly this was difficult for me to complete this review but it NEEDS to be said. I have in no way made a personal attack at either of the women hosting the party. I simply laid out the facts of why I gave them 1 star. We attended a party under the prior owners approximately a year ago and enjoyed our experience which is why we chose to have our daughters 7th birthday party with them. Had I read a review like this I could have saved our money and chose more wisely where to have the party. I am saddened that this business has taken the turn it has, the concept is awesome and it could be a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately it was the worst party we have ever attended. They quickly deleted our negative comments from Facebook. Please beware of this bad business.
